Mrs. McIver is a great niece of Mrs. Jones. Since attendance was very small at Dungannon United Church on Sunday morning the service was held in' the Sunday School room. Shelley Rivett played the piano for the service. Rev. H. G. Dobson spoke on the topic, "Faith Renew- ed". Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. David Dawson on the birth of a daughter, Robin Ellen, in Wingham Hospital on December 23, a sister for Jacqueline, Paul and Mary Beth. Mrs. Cecil Blake had her family ,home at various times over the Christmas weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blake and Sean of Alliston; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sowerby of Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blake, Becky and Kara of Cambridge and Miss Barbara Blake of Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. John Bere and Karen of London, Mrs. Jim Austin, Toronto spent the weekend with Mrs. Mary Bere. The other members of the Bere family joined them on Christmas Day. Mrs. John Bere received a telephone call from Trinidad on Saturday morning and spoke to her mother and brother and his family. Mrs. Bere's niece, Leemoy Chung, Who visited the Bere's in London and Dungannon two years ago, was married on December 26 in Trinidad. On Monday Mr. and Mrs. John Smith attended the wedding at Varna of Ross Elliott and Dawn LaLiberte. The congregation of Christian Fellowship .Church went carol singing around the village trans-' ported by Moses Shelter's team and sleigh. They distributed fruit baskets made by the Young People to the local shutins.
