GRADEONE
The grade one class have been
getting ready for Christmas. They
made Santa faces and many other
decorations for their room. They are
going to be Angels for the school
Christmas Concert.
On Tuesday, December 6 they
helped Mrs. Gross string popcorn
for the Christmas tree in the library.
Their buddies helped them write a
letter to Santa Claus. (Many of the
letters will appear in nextweek’s
paper.)
GRADE 3/4

Gamiss and David Me Burney
The grade 3/4 class have just
recently had their school pictures
taken and received their report
cards. They have been busy decorat
ing their classroom for Christmas
and have been working on Christmas
Centres. To add to the holiday spirit
they have started a Candy Cane
reading club. They are also hard at
work practicing for the Christmas
Concert.
GRADE4
by Becky Van Camp and Michelle
Frelburger
The grade 4 class have been
making advent calendars and they
have made a Christmas Tree out of
fallen branches. They also have been
decorating their classroom and
having advent services.
GRADE FIVE
by Eugene Fenton and Trevor Beck
During the month of November,
Grade 5 did a monster unit. We
studied monsters such as Shy
Nessie, Vampires, Werewolves,
Bigfoot, Abominable Snowman and
Greek Mythological monsters.
At the end of the unit, we put a
flour-based paste on our face. We
added paint for a final touch. After
that, we went to the other class
rooms. We played a song called
“The Monster Walk” as we showed
them our faces. Some students were
terrified! What a time it took to get
that stuff off!
