UCW told
The general meeting of Knox
United U.C.W., Belgrave, was held
Thursday, Nov. 24. Miss Lavonne
Ballagh of Wingham was guest
speaker and her topic was called
“De-junking our lives.”
Lavonne compared our lives to a
shopping cart in a supermarket. Do
we fill the shopping carts of our lives
with junk food or do we choose the
good things of life? What kind of
magazines are in our homes? What
kind of T.V. shows do we watch?
What about the junk that spews from
our mouths? The grudges we hold
that are the litter barrels of our lives?
Think on things that are good.Six new Brownies were enrolled in the Blyth Brownie Pack Thursday night in
Blyth. Joining Brownies were [front row, left to right] Jennifer Jackson, Skye
Lantinga, Courtney Rutledge, Ashley Howson; [back] Susan Haggitt,
