Joanne King and Mary Davidson were convenors for the meeting. Following the devotions Joanne read a story about Conrad, a cobbler, who was expect ing a visit from the Lord. Due to the absence of Mrs. Klaus of Walton who was unable to attend due to illness in the family, Joanne gave an excellent talk and demon stration on reflexology and deep muscle relaxation. Kathleen Semple invited the group to her home for the Christmas meeting. Each member is reminded tobring something for the lunch. The usual gift is to be given to the Nursing Home and poinsettias to the shut-ins. There will be a gift exchange at the Christmas meeting. Following adjournment, lunch was served. It will be the first of five shopping sprees sponsored by the 13 partici pating merchants (in addition four other Brussels businesses are sup porting the event). The winner of the shopping spree will have 30 seconds free shopping in each of the Brussels EMA and the Brussels Village Market stores (with certain limitations such as the fact that only three items of any one kind can be taken and the winner must be sure to get items from three designated areas of the store). Those who may not feel fast on their feet will be able to get a designated shopper to take their place. The shopping spree will take place each Monday night at 6 p.m. Draws to see who will win the spree will be held each Saturday at noon from entries deposited in the drum at the Brussels Post Office.
