Court of revision of the Wester- hout Drain was held with no appeals heard. The reading of the report on the Grcidanus Drain was held with January 17 at 8 p.m. set for court of revision. The clerk was instructed to contact Morris Township regarding the cleanout of the Bowes Drain to provide sufficient outlet for draining a lot on Concession 14. A by-law to authorize an agree ment between Hullett, McKillop and Seaforth to share a representa tive on the Ausable-Bayfield Con servation Authority was approved. Another by-law authorized the signing of an agreement between the township and the county of Huron for the joint use of fire fighting equipment and the esta blishment of a Rescue Support Program was also approved. Final reading was given to a by-law to authorize a Community Program for Recreation and appoint a recreation committee. Acting clerk-treasurer Bev Shad dick was instructed to send a letter of concern over the vacancy of the Fire Services Co-ordinator to Jack Rid dell, M.P.P. for Huron and the Solicitor General’s office requesting that this position be reinstated as soon as possible. Council approved ordering of a plaque to honour the contributions of the late Norman Alexander during his 14 years as drainage commis sioner for the township. The road superintendent was instructed to send a letter to the Ministry of Natural Resources stat ing the township’s concerns over campers and traffic control when events are held at the Hullett Wildlife Centre. Hockey report forms available With the hockey season rolling again The Citizen would like to have as extensive coverage of teams playing in Belgrave, Blyth and Brussels as possible. To simplify the often frightening prospect of reporting the games of your favourite team, The Citizen has prepared special forms that take only a couple of minutes to fill out yet provide the necessary information for our writers to write an account of the game. These forms are available free to interested coaches, mana gers, or parents in either the Brussels or Blyth offices. Take a few minutes to provide the information to us. We’ll do the rest.
