equipment sale at the Auburn Works shed to bld on bargains, or just to watch. County engineer Dennis
Merrall said total sales added up to more than $41,000, while the Town of Wingham placed the highest bid
on a 1983 diesel dump truck at $10,000. The coun ty ’ s Champion grader did not get a bld equal to its $35,000
reserve, and will continue in county service, Mr. Merrall said. Auctioneer Richard Lobb, centre,
conducted the sale. z
Bridge grant announced
Jack Riddell, MPP, for Huron and
Minister of Agriculture and Food,
today announced a $420,000 grant to
the Township of East Wawanosh for
replacement of the 10th Line Bridge.
This is in addition toa $485,000 grant
announced in April.
Mr. Riddell made the announce
ment on behalf of the Honourable Ed
Fulton. Minister of Transportation,

euchre party
The Silver Tops euchre party was
held at the Community Hall on
Tuesday, November 1. There were
seven tables.

Stewart (playing as a man). There
was no novelty as anonymous Lucy
sat on the chair. Euchre parties are
held every Tuesday nightat8p.m. at
Community Hall.
