effort organized by the Ministry of
Agriculture and Food, the Ontario
Federation of Agriculture and nine
provincial commodity organiza
tions, is celebrated to increase
consumer awareness and appre
ciation of Ontario’s agriculture and
food industry.
Celebrations are being held all
across Ontario. They range from a
kick-off at the Ontario Science
Centre in Toronto to tours of
show-case farming operations and
mall displays.

Sometime between June 4 at
9p.m. and 7 a. m. on June 5,
thievesstolea 1984 Coleman
Cape Cod white and beige tent
trailer. It appears the thieves
used bolt cutters to cut the chain
holding the trailer. They then
took it away using a trailer hitch
on a small to medium vehicle.
The licence plate on the trailer
was B29859 and the serial # is
1CLFF1 1C6Es93174. The value
of the loss was over $1500.

For the purpose of selecting a candidate to represent the Pro
gressive Conservative Association in the federal riding of Huron-
Bruce in the next federal election.
The constitution provides that the following delegates will be en
titled to vote at the nomination convention: the executive and
honorary members of the association; the chairpersons and vice
chairpersons of each municipality; the executive of the Young Pro
gressive Conservative Association and three resident delegates
from each polling subdivision. Each candidate must file a written
nomination with the secretary of the Association at least 48 hours
prior to the nomination meeting.
