Awardswere: Nursery Class, Scotty McDonald perfect atten­ dance (P.A.) pin and certificate; Darrell McClure - P.A. pin and certificate; Kenny McCallum, P.A. pin and certificate; Darryl Houston, P.A. pin and certificate; Paul Linton, certificate; Jeffery Linton, certificate; Jamie Emm- rich, certificate; Katie Emmrich, certificate; Kelly McDonald, two- year wreath and seal; Kerrie McClure, certificate; Jillian Hou­ ston, three year bar and seal; Janice McCallum, three-year bar and seal. Teacher, Maxine Marks. Promoted to Primary Class were Kelly McDonald, Janice McCal­ lum. Jillian Houston, Kerrie Mc­ Clure, Paul Linton, Jamie Emm- rich, Katie Emmrich. Promoted to Junior Class were Stacey Linton, Randy Linton, Cindy McCallum, Shannon Davies, Neil Saur, Valorie Collins. Junior class teachers are Dianne McCallum and Helen Craig. Rev. Bonnie Lamble led the Junior choir of girls when they sang an anthem, “Jesus the Christ said’ ’ accompanied at the piano by Marion Godkin. Greeters were Tom and Darlene Leeming. Organ­ ist was Glenda Carter. Receiving the offering were Campbell Wey and Neil McGavin. Susan Carter heads 4-H dub The first meeting of the W alton I 4H Club was held at the home of Karen Hoegy. Leaders for this club, “Much Ado About Meat’’ are Karen Hoegy and Judy Glauser. The meeting was opened with the 4H pledge. The roll call “one reason you should eat meat” was answered by six members. The election of officers are as follows: President, Susan Carter; Vice President, Jenny Kellington; Secretary, Dawn Marcuccio; Press Reporter, Sharon Godkin. The health aspects of eating meat and the basics of preparing meat were discussed. The next meeting will be held at Judy Glauser’s home. A snack was provided by Karen Hoegy when the meeting ended.
