He spent a few days last week with his sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Muriel Hart, Brussels. They at­ tended the wedding of their nephew in Wiarton on September 24. John and Isabel Armstrong attended the graduation ceremony of their son, Gary at Mowhawk College, Hamilton on Friday night, September 23. They were accom­ panied by Brian and Elaine Armstrong. The local TV Channel 17 will be showing the Brussels Fall Fair, crowning of the Queen and the Baby Show on Wednesday, Sep­ tember 28 and Thursday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Imeson of Wheatley visited with Jack and Marilyn Higgins for a few days last week. While here they took in the Brussels Fair and it brought a lot of memories back to Roland. After 33 years he still recalled about everyone having to learn how to march. He went home happy though as he just had to have a candy apple. Hesaidthatevenwith the population of Wheatley they don’t have a fair. So keep up the good work and don’t let the fair fade out. The fair hud a good turnout even though the Plowing Match was on, and the parade in Brussels would never be the same if Don McNeil wasn’t in it. We can always count on Don for his entries, Thank ’ s Don - you make every parade worth watching. Also thanks to Grey Owl Enterprises for their entry. Miss Grey Owl was sensational, wasn’t she? If you see some young men walking around with navy leather jackets, it’s just our intermediate team. The crest says Brussels Crusaders, Intermediate Grand Champions. Wear them with pride guys.
