Earl McIlwain, 93, of Goderich drove his own 1916 George White
steam engine in the parade, accompanied by his friend Ivan Steckley.
Mr. McIlwain hasn’t missed a reunion in 20 years.
Prize-winner Shane Mole of Owen Sound is an accomplished fiddle
master -- at the age of 7.
The heart and soul of every threshers’ reunion, the giant, lumbering
steam engines are what make it all possible. Fourteen of them were on
display this year.
