A Christmas 1:)ream
In the little ter shop window,
Billy's eager face was pres-
sed;
And his tiny body cast a
shadow
Against the ground, snow
white dressed.
.He said, "Don't worry
you'll be alright".
They both smiled and all
was well.
The sun shone

yawn.

A hand upon his shoulder,
"Billy, it's time to go",
and Billy's face was lighted, -
Like a shiny Star •aglow.

When Billy went to bed that
night,
His mother said, "Sweet
Dreams - -
And he lay asleep with
smile on his face,
While 'the moon shone
radiant beams:
In his dreams thai4 night,
The toy shop appeared once
more,
Wonderful 'things were hap-
pening,
Everything came alive be-
hind the toy shop door.
The toy soldier played his
drums,
The train whizzed round
and round. -
All the instruments began to
play, •
And they made a glorious
sound.
Dolly and Teddy danced
hand in hand,
pAnd sleigh bells rang with
glee.
Ohl what a marvelous sight
this was!
Everyone was as happy as
could be.
Kind in the midst of all the
laughter,
There sat a crying clown,
His head was bent, his hands
were folded,
His eyes were staring down.
Billy stopped and-held -him
tight,
And on his shoulder the

The clown with chuckles

And now when Billy remem-
bers that day,

He smiles and grins at the
clown,
And they both share a sec-
, ret, a wonderful bliss.
So when you're sleeping on
Christmas. Eve,
And the moon shines i rad-
iant beam,
Don't be surprised if some-
time in the night,
You dream a magical dream
-a Christmas dream.

The ground was covered in a
blanket of white
The sky was clear and bhie.
Then Billy began to smile
and laugh,
As jaybirds whooped and
flew.
Billy crept quietly down the
stairs,
And someone was sitting
there.
It was his mom and dad,
smiling,
Oh, but they were a marv-
ellous pair!
Billy looked into his'stocking,
And pulled out candies and
toys,
Then he began opening pres-
ents,
AU sorts of wonderful things
for' boys.
Then something caught his
eye,
And Billy paused and glanc-
ed,
At a tiny clown grinning at
him,
