tute was held on Tuesday,
December 9; commencing
with a delicious smorgas-
bord, hosted by Mrs. Arm-
strong Wilson, Mrs. Harvey
Webster, Mrs. Marshall Gib-
son and Mrs. Beatrice Ad-
ams.
Mrs. Stewart MacGilliv-
-ay, president, conducted the
itusiness, and Mrs. Floward
Barger read the minutes.
It was moved that a dona7
ion of $38 be sent to, the
1delaide Hoodless Home.

my favourite Christmas Car-
ol. The members then enjoy-
ed fniding out who, their
Sunshine Sisters were for the
past year and received their
gifts.
Every member received a
corsage, a gift from' Mrs.
Beatrice Adams, and a note
book from the Bank of
Montreal.
Mrs. Armstrong Wilson
presided for the program and
read•a poem, "When Christ-
mas Comes Around".

The Helen MacKercher
Scholarship 1980 was won by
Mrs. Josie Snyder of Tillson-
burg. A donation of $4000
was sent to the Special Care
Project at Ware. College,
London, England, to help
defray expenses for overseas
students.
1981 being the "Year Of
the Disabled", Women's In-
stitutes are requested to,
keep, this in mind for their
programming and projects in
1981,
There are 1207 branches, a
drop of 20 groups, 27,492
members, . a drop of over
1,000 members.
