He has thanked and presented with a gift by Mrs. Gordon McPherson. The program committee took charge of the meeting and began by a sing song of Christmas Carols. A delicious lunch was then served by Mrs. Don• McCosh and Mrs. Paid Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Don Reid and Larry visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Collins" of Ashfield Township on Saturday night. Rob Sutton of London and Mr. Paul Greenwood of Wingham visited with Mrs. John Farrell on Sunday afternoon. On Saturday, the Farrells had Fred and Judy Wright of Toronto visiting with them. Last Wednesday, the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture 'Annual Meeting and Banquet was held at Elmwood. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Sutton and Mr. and Mrs. Don McCosh attended from this community. Congratulations to John McAuley who was elected Second Vice President. The community is sorry to hear that Sam Emerson has suffered a stroke recently. He is in Kincardine Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gillies entertained Jack and Hilda Beirnes of Stratford on Saturday evening. Mrs. Ben Scott has been 'in Kincardine Hospital recovering from pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Morley Scott had dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Miller Flartwiek in Kincardine on Sunday. Mrs. George Emerson and Bob had as' irisitors on Sunday, Mrs. Frances Emerson, Frank and Susan from Goderich. An enjoyable card party was held at the co-rn m -center on Friday evening. This will ,help to buy something for the center. Wilma Sutton hosted a meeting, on Thursday evening for area people interested in spinning. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Van Rooyen had Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rhody and family visit them on Sunday afternoon. In the evening, the Van Rooyens saw the Kincardine Community Singers.
