The bride is the
daugther of Mr. and Mrs.
Derk Logtenberg of R.R.
1 Dungannon and the
groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Henry
West of Stratford.
The Reverend Cecil
Wittich of Blyth and Mr.
George Cowan of
Dungannon officiated at
the double ring
ceremony. The organist
was Mrs. Jean Elliott and
soloist was Miss Helen
Elliott. Music selections
included "I Found a
Miracle", "0 'Perfect
Love", "Wedding
Prayer" and "Wedding
Benediction".
The bride was given in
marriage by her parents.
She wore a princess
styled gown of bridal
satin accented with Swiss
lace and featuring a
ruffled edge • around the
entire gown and train. A
pill box hat held her
fingertip length veil
which was appliqued with
roses. She carried a
bouquet of orange roses
entwined with ivy and a
heirloom crocheted purse
with center pearl and
silver clasp.
Maid of honor was
Karen Reurink of R.R. 7
Lucknow. She wore a
mint green gown with
empire waistline, fitted
bodice, spaghetti straps
and sheer flower printed
cape.
Bridesmaids were
Irene Hasty of Stratford
and Mrs. Frances Farrell
of R.R. 3 Ripley.
Junior bridesmaid was
Melissa Logtengery • of
R.R. 1 Dungannon.
The bridesmaids were
all gowned the same as
the maid of honor, All of
the 'bridal attendants
wore silver lockets and
chains, gifts from the
bride.
Groomsman was Garry
Jantzi of Stratford.
Guests were ushered
into- the church by Paul
West of Toronto and
Jerry and Kenny
Logtenberg, both of R.R.
1 Dungannon.
The groom wore a dark
green tuxedo with orange
rose boutonniere. The
groom's attendants also
wore dark green tuxedos.
Following the Wedding
ceremony, a reception
was held at the Lucknow
Community Centre where
the wedding cake cen-
tered the head table.
The bride's mother
greeted guests wearing'a
plum' cocktail length
dress with three-quarter
length sleeves and a pink
apple blossom and white
rose corsage.
The groom's mother
assisted wearing a sheer
i gow%of brown tones with
a yeliow rose corsage.
Guests attended from
Stoney Creek, Hamilton,
Guelph, Sarnia and
Toronto.
For a one week wed-
ding trip to Niagara
Falls, the bride changed
to a grey blazer, plaid
skirt and pink blousa with
a red rose corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. West are
residing at 98 Wood
Street in Stratford. Th
groom is employed
Alloy Castings in Nevi
Hamburg and the bride is
employed by Stratforc
General Hospital.
