The November meeting of
St. Helens- Women's Insti-
tute was held in St. Helens
Hall with 17 members and
one little girl present- The
Curators were in charge of
the meeting.
The roll call was to be
answered by bringing a
picture suitable for the
Tweedsmuir Book and sever-
al pictures were given.
Thank you notes were read
from several who had been in
attendance at the 75th anni-
versary party and several
, substantial donations receiv-
ed,
The Institute is to cater to
the Lions on November 10
and the Agricultural Society
on November 26. It was
decided to have the first card
party of the season bit Nov-
ember 20 and was agreed to
raise the price to $1.50 and
the prizes to be raised ac-
cordingly.
The Crewel Embroidery
course was discussed and a
tentative date set for Novem-
ber 24 with leaders Mrs.
