BRIDAL SHOWER A community bridal show- er was held Wednesday, evening, in the Parish Hall for Mary McKinnon, bride- elect of -Jim Frayne. Mrs. Rita Howard was chairlady for the program. Mary Luanne Clare sang two songs accompanied at, the piano by Denise Dalton. Betty Lou Dalton also sang accompanying herself on:the guitar. Lisa Frayne danced the Highland Fling and Rose Frayne conducted a genie; poem &Unposed to Mary by and Jeanette . Hogan and Marianne Fray, ne was „Lead these girls: Mary'Clare played, Here. Trish and old time favourite songs were .enjoyed with Raymond Dalton, Den- nis Dalton, Donald Frayn and Elnier Umbach taking turns or singing tegether-in the verse with the audience bingo planned for Thursday, November 6th, the last one before Christmas. The conso- lation prize was shared by Mildred lehnstonof Nile and Stephanie Vogt, The door prize .was won by Itnette Brown, 'The annual turkey bingos sponsored by the Parish of Ashfield, will be held in Kingsbridge and St. Augustine before Christmas. Jennifer Sinnett Spent the weekend with her family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sinnett and sisters in Detroit.
