The bride is the daughter of Charles and Jean Shelton of Goderich and the groom is the son of Donald and Dorothy Hamilton of Lucknow. The Reverend John Wood officiated at the double ring ceremony,- Miss Denise Kennedy of Teeswater was the soloist. She sang The Rose and Evergreen. The bride was given in marriage by her.parents. She wore a wedding gown of silk polyester vvith a high lace neckline, lace sleeves and cumberbund waistline. Her shoulder length veil was held by a, beaded headpiece and she carried a silkbouquet of yellow and blue roses with baby's breath and peacock feathers. Maid of honor was Jane Graham of Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a polyester gown of dark royal blue featuring a cowl neckline and 'front slit. She also wore white daisies in her hair and carried White and blue silk daisies in a white wicker basket. Bridesmaids were" Mrs. Barb Van Diepenbeek of Lucknow, cousin of the groom, Mrs. Cathy Vollick of Goderich, friend of the bride' and Mrs. Brenda Shelton of Goderich, sister-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaid:was Barbara Hallam of Goderich, friend, of the bride. The bridesmaids were dressed identically to the maid of honor and carried the same flowers. m Groosman was Kevin Austin of Kingsbridge, friend Of the groom. Guests were ushered into the church 'by Greg Hamilton and Paul Hamilton;, both._. Lucknow, brothers of the groom and Ken Shelton of Goderich, brother of the bride. Larry Leppington of Goderich, friend of the bride, served as junior . usher. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the Lucknow Community Centre. The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a sleeveless polyester dress of dusty rose with a floor lOngth lace jacket and corsage, Of white gardenias. The groom's mother chose a polyester dress of pale green with a, lace bodice and cap sleeves and a corsage of pink roses. Special guests of the bride were Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Broadfoot and special guests of the groom' were his grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gibson and Mrs. Sara Hamilton. Following a wedding trip to Ottawa and Burlington, Mr. and Mrs, Hamilton took up residence at 104: Brock Street, Goderich, Prior to her wedding, the bride was feted at showers held by Jane Graham, Mrs. Vivian Graham and:Mrs. Brenda SheitonAr friends of the bride; by Mrs. Marie Flynn for aunts and cousins; by Mrs. Barb Van Diepenbeek and Joanne Hamilton for aunts and cousins of the groom ; by Mrs,.
