The bride Is the former Patti-Jo O'Hagan, daughter of Mk. and Mrs. Pat O'Hagan of. Walkerton. the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Sleeker of Lucknow. Soloist was Gordon Kaster and his wife was organist, The bride, given in Marriage by her parents, is a daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Keith Small, Wroxeter. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Morrison, LUcknow, Ontario. Kathy Galbraith, London, was maid of honour. Brides- maids were Patty-Jo Small, Kitchener; Brenda Deyell, Wingham; Kate Martyn, Listowel; and Joan Hackett, Clinton. Terry Hays, R. R. 1 %outer, was best man. The groom's sister, Gloria Symes, was matron of hon- our. She'wore a long gown of blue silk overlaid with blue and grey floral sheer and styled'with cap sleeves. Her headband was baby blue roses and baby's breath. Her bouquet contained b.aby_b_lu_e and white mums and yellow daisies and was accented with 'baby blue roses trim- med with yellow ribbon. The 'groom was handsome wearing a very light, green suit with yellow fleck in the material. He wore a bouton- niere of blue roses and baby's breath. The groom's brother-in- law, Bob Syines, was best ' man. He wore a navy blue velvet jacket and grey pants accented with a boutonniere of baby blue roses and baby's breath. • Following the wedding, dinner was served at the Embassy Tavern, Kincardine A beautiful late summer day provided the setting when. The bride is the daughter of ' Mr. and Mrs. Dave Moore, R. 3, Wingham and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Gollan of Lucknow. The bride chose a white fitted gown with laceltrim- med sleeves and bodice and sweetheart neckline. Her full chiffon sleeves were appli- qued with lace and, were gathered into wide late cuffs. The skirt flowed to a pleated ruffle and train. Her two- tiered veil was trimmed with lace and fell from a lace Thanksgiving was the theme setting at St. Georges Anglican Church, Goderich, on Saturday, October 4, 1980 at 4 p.m. for the marriage of Valerie Joy Park and Michael Charles Beifdig. Dried corn stalks, fall fruits and vegetables and ar- rangements of mums decor- ated the church. • Reverend Robert J. Crock- er officiated for the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by organist J. B. Herdman, The bride is the daughter of Bill and Marie Park of Dungannon and the groom's parents are Jack and Mark orie Bendig of Guelph. The bride entered the church on her father's arm, gowned in a dress of white silk jersey fashioned on' simple lines. The skirt ex- tended into a cathedral train. The bodice featured a sweet- heart neckline trimmed with a row of daisies, with long tapered sleeves. The bride's fingertip silk illusion veil encircled with a row of scalloped lace, was caught by a pleated jersey and, nylon lace juliette cap. She carried a cascade of silk roses and rosebuds in shades of pink and dusty rose with. trailing rosebuds. Maid of honour was Deb- bie Johnston of Goderich, friend of the bride and groom. Bridesmaids were Vicki Park of Goderich, Wan- da Park and Patti Park of for immediate family. An open reception was held at the Lucknow Community Centre .with dancing to ,the music of _Midnight Express. ' After returning from their honeymoon to Tennessee, Dungannon, all sisters of the bride. All were gowned alike in floor length rosewood silk blouson style dresses with spaghetti straps, tied waists and matching jackets trim- med with. lace. They carried bouquets of silk flowers in shades of pink and dusty rose with pearly grey daisies and streamers. They wore a rosewood silk rose in their hair and a silver chain and pendant, a gift of the bride. Best man was Dave Bend- ig of Guelph, brother of the groom. Ushers were John Reitkirk,of Guelph, brother- in-law of the groom Dave'. .$owerby and Bill Duckworth of Goderich, friends of the bride and groom. The groom wore 'a black tuxedo with satin lapels. His boutonniere was a rosewood. .silk rose. The other male attendants were attired in pearly gtey tuxedos with darker grey lapels and wore a rosewood silk rose boutonniere. Flowers were by English of. Wingham, Following the wedding re- hearsal, the groom's parents entertained the bridal party and close friends at the home 'of the bride and groom.
