D. Durnin, reeve of West Wa- wanosh and his wife Grace; Murray Gaunt IiiPP for Hur- on Bruce and his wife Pat; Mrs. Willis Matheson, F.W. I.O. board member; Mrs. Keith Heipleh, chairman London area; Mrs. Win. Rutherford, oldest living Southampton ' United Church hosted the' Bruce Presbyterial United Church Women executive meeting on September 15. Mr's. F. , Warder, Southampton, pres- ident, greete4 the ladies. Refreshments were served hy members of Mrs. Flor- ence Padden's group. Presidents and vice presid- ents attended from among the locals within the Presby- terial. Members of Hamilton Conference U.C.W. execut- ive also present were Mrs. Johnston, Mrs. C. E. Tup- per, and Mrs. Sheldon Wolfe. \ President, Mrs. Ronald Slade, welcomed everyone and quoted from a verse entitled, What a Wonderful Time is Autumn. Mrs. Clar- ence McClenaghan gave a devotion entitled, Hands. Mrs. W. Mrs, Bruce Raynard, pianist and Mrs. Ross Garninie conduct- ed a •sing song. Greetings from the district were brought by Mrs. „Chandler and .:from Federated Worn- en's Institute by Mrs. Math- eson. The treasurer's report vvaS given by Mrs. Torn Caley. Mrs. Sheldon Wolfe, leader-, ship chairperson, reported that there Would be a work-: shop on Basic Leadership Skills, :sponsored by Bruce Presbytery, at Allenford on October 1, and Teeswater on October 15. The dates for the five Presbyterial presenta- tions this fall were also given. Others reporting in Leadership Division were Mrs. Delbert Wilson, Mrs. W. Pollock, Mrs. G. Walden, J, D. Dutnin brought greetings from the township and expressed thanks to the Institute for he and his wife being invited. General Council. Taking part ,were Mrs. Maryann Connell, chairperson of Bruce Pres- hyteryc Rev, Doug-43rydon, and Mrs. Jean Brydon.
