The ,bride-is the-daughter
of-Mr. and Mrs. Wally Wier:-
sma of R. 1, Holyrood and
the groom is the sem of Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Riddolls of
R. 3, Listowel.
The bride given in mar-
riage by her father chose a
white formal floor length
gown of legocla silk featuring
a shirred empire bodice with
net veil was•beld by a Juliet
cap of 'matching lace -and
seed. pearls. - -
Nancy koobs, R. d Gow-
anstown, friend of the bride,
was matron of honour and
Christine Stroll, Toronto,
friend of the bride and Grace
Harper, Listowel, sister of
the groom, assisted as brid-
esmaids.
They wore floor length
gowns of banana jersey feat-
uring a shirred bodice with
scoop neckline and peplum at
the waist. The gowns had full
A-line skirts and cap sleeves.
They carried arm bouquets of
long stem daisies', mums and
roses.
Listowel,
niece of the groom, was
flower girl. She , wore
banana yellow floor length
dress in a floral pattern with
white flowers and touches of
light brown. She carried a
basket of daisies, mums and
roses.
Murray Riddolls of Listow-
el, brother of the groom, was
best man and the guests
were ushered 'by John Web-
er, Glen Allan, friend of the
groom, and Ed Wiersma,
Kitchener, brother of the
bride.
The soloist Eveline Van
Sligtenhorst of Kinlough
sang the • Wedding Song,
Wedding Prayer and You're
a 'Gift.
The- reception followed at
the Lucknow Legion Hall
where the mother received
Wearing a rose pink floor
length gown with a corsage
of pink roses and baby's
breath.
The groom's mother assis-
ed wearing a floor length
gown of floral shades in
purple and . white and a
matching corsage.
The bride changed to a
cocktail length dress of off
white for travelling.
The couple are residing at
R. 3, Listowel.
Ritchie began -this
meeting by explaining the
special projects to the older
girls. She then went' on to
discuss crepes and how to
make them, Mrs. Howald
took over to show and talk
about blenders. She pointed
out The. Energuide.
The members were shown
how to make the crepes. Step
by step they were made
along with their fillings.
When ready, they were
served. In most opinions, the
crepes were the most enjoy-
able food made yet.
Obituary
LESLIE ERNEST SWAN
Leslie Ernest (Ernie) Swan
of Cambridge died suddenly
as the result of a motorcycle
accident in his 30th year.
A' son of Earl Swan of
Cambridge and Mrs. Nora
Bell of Listowell, he is surviv-
ed by his wife, the former
Mary Larrabee, a brother,
Ralph, Cambridge; sisters,
Marlene, Mrs. Carry Wat-
son, Cambridge; Norma
Jean, Mrs. Mike Middleton,
Cambridge; Ruth of Van-
couver and several step-
brothers and sisters.
He is also survived by big
grandfather, Peter Earl Swan
of Wiartort.
The funeral service was
held on Saturday, October 4,
1980, at Little's Funeral
Home in Cambridge. Inter-
rnenti was in Malta View
Cemetery.

the cabbage rolls were start-
ed, after which the leader
