Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gord West (nee Cindy Proeter) who were married Saturday evening in St. GeorgPs Anglican church, Goderich. Many i people will know Gord as the young man employed by Dawson's Plumbing. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cook attended the marriage of El- mer's sister, Brenda, to. Keith Kerr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Kerr, on Friday evening in the United Church at Atwood, Tom Wall spent the week- end in Lucknow with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wall. They also at- tended the Teeswater Fall Fair on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Web- ster spent the weekend in, Bolton with their daughter, Lois, husband and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Thomas. On Monday they all enjoyed Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bradley family of Goderich. Congratulations to A. J. and Cora Sherwood who cele- brated their 35th wedding anniversary, on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stir- ling, Harold and Darlene of Thamesville spent Thanks- giving with her mother, Mrs. Elsie Irvin. Mrs. Helen Nicholson is a patient in Wingham and District Hospital. Hallowelen -is fast ap- proaching and the Agricul- ture Society has planned a dance-for-October 2S-Maybe. it would be possible to have some type of Hallowe'en party for the children too on October 31. Six runners from each division make up a team, which goes to Point Farms on Wednesday, Oct- ober 15, to compete against other schools. Details of the meet will be in next week's column.
