Thankoffering
The Fall Thankoffering of
the Lucknow Presbyterian
W.M.S. was held on Wed-
nesday, October 8 in the
church.
The.president, Mrs. Mor-
gan Henderson, presided
and opened the meeting with
a Thanksgiving verse.
The scripture and medita-
tion was taken by Mrs.
-Austin Loree and the theme
was Thankfulness. Mrs. Jim
Aitchison had a ° suitable
--reading. Mrs. Omar -Brooks
led in prayer. Mrs. Bert Be '
Moffat gave a piano instru-
mental.
The guest speaker was
Mrs. Bell of Whitechurch.
She showed slides of a visit
to the Holy Land and in a
most interesting comment-
ary. described their experi-
ences on the trip enjoyed by
het and her husband, Rev.
Bell.
Courtesies were given by
Mrs. Noble Johnston. A
social hour followed.

We all enjoyed the exper-
ience, and it gave the. arents -

varied activities their child
works at each day.
We have had a busy
September including hikes to
the fields to study insects, in
connection with our Environ-
ment Studies. Our hall bul-

Our September birthdays
were Jamie Johnston and
Russell Sutton.

ness. Minutes were read by
Mrs. Frank McQuillin, and
the financial report by Mrs.
