Breckles • entertained __the
Kiniough and District Bible
Society executive at their
home on Monday evening,
which opened with scripture
reading and prayer,
Miss May Boyle read •a
letter3frorh the Toronto office
informing them that the Rev.
Cowan would be unable to
come ICinlough for the
annual fall meeting this year
and requested that the same
executive tarry on and ar-
range for the annual canvass,
hopefully the ones named for
1979 would again act.
The Minutes of last year's
meeting lie.d in the -Presby-
terian Church were read, The
treasurer, Mrs. ' Frank
Maulden, read a letter of
appreciation from the head
office for last year's canvass
which was most gratifying
and also gave' the financial
statement of last year.
Walter showed pictures of
the trip he and Mrs. Breckles
enjoyed to the Maritimes this
summer after which a lovely
lunch was served and a. social
chat enjoyed.
