through. This lasted for over
a minute. However we "were
lucky that we didn't have the
tornado that hit Teeswater.

attended the Ripley. Fall Fair
on Saturday were several
from this area, including. Mr.
Dan Wylds, who received the
prize for the eldest gentle-
man there.
Congratulations are in or-
der for Barry Elphick who
graduated on. Saturday at
Doon Campus of. Conestoga
College, as a welder 'fitter.
Barry is employed in London.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Elphick
attended the graduation ex-
ercises.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Mat-
thewman and daughter,
Margo, and baby are on a
holiday trip to the Ottawa
area. Its off to British Col-
umbia for son, Doug Mat-
thewman, where he will, be a
ski instructor for the coming
season.
We are sorry to report that
Mr. D. A. MacLennan is in'
University Hospital, London,
after having suffered a heavy
stroke at his home here.
