ely rested. Mrs. McKinley is
a cousin to Harvey, Eldon
and Clara.

were guests at the wedding
of their nephew, Douglas
McLean, to Mary Ellen Hav-
ens, in Lucknow last Satur-
day. ,
Congratulations to,Jim and
Vi Arnold who are celebrat-
ing their 50th' wedding anni-
versary. Jim and Vi lived
with us for many years, first
on the 9th concession and
later, on the 10th when they
lived at Lanes store. They
were always willing to help
with community work and
made many friends through
their involvement with oth-
ers. We all at Trinity wish
you much health and happi-
ness.

On Wednesday, Septem-
ber 24, the Grade 8s went to
the Wawanosh Conservation
Area. They studied things
about the area including
Stream Study, Orienteering,'
Woalot Study and had a fun
game of survival. Mr. Liddle
and Mr. Jewitt accompanied
them on the field trip.
Friday was Professional
Acitivity day for the teachers
for which different schools
planned various learning ex-
periences.
At Brookside, Sue Alder-
son, Primary Consultant for
Perth County, presented a
Workshop, Using the Basal
Reader Creatively, which
was open to teachers
throughout the county. There
were so many teachers inter-
ested that she gave two
sessions, one in the morning
and one in the afternoon.
Don Cameron attended a
music worlAop in Seaforth.
Some of the Remedial and
Primary teachers from neigh-
bouring schools met in the
morning in the Special Edu-
cation room to discuss meth-
ods and programs.
