The Kingsbridge Girl
Guides and Brownies, along
with their leaders, Joanne
Menary and Karla Hogan,
recently enjoyed an over-
night camping trip to Col-
lingwood. While there, they
enjoyed rides on the Slipper
Dipper, toured the Scenic
Caves, the Candy Factory
and the Blue Mountain Pot-
tery.

attended the annual Costello-
O'Neil picnic at Harbour
Park,. Goderich on Sunday.
Joe 'Austin has beefi
-with relatives in Toronto
and also attended the Canad-
ian Exhibition.

John and Rita Howard
attended the wedding of

perman at Imaculate Concep-

and Rita. Howard, Mike and
Jim O'Neil, attended the
funeral of their' cousin, Em-
mett °Neil, at St. John's
Church, Jackson, Michigan.

While in Toronto they all
enjoyed the sights and other
attractions, Holly stayed with.

while her parents were in the
big city. '

Mrs. Mary Bere and
friend, Ruth . Schmidt, of
Tavistock, returned to Can-
ada on Monday after a three
week holiday in England.
After several daysin London,
England, where they , saw
many points of interest and
attended Evensong service in
Westminister Abbey, they
travelled north to Hutton
Rudley, in Yorkshire, to visit
Mary's cousin, Agnes Brad-
bury and family. While there
they travelled around north-
ern England to Whitby,
York, Haworth (where the
Brontes lived), Durham, the
Lake District and the moors.
They saw stately homes,
castles, abbey ruins and
modern industrial areas.
