Reverend Stanley Q. ueted the doubt ring, ceremony which united jo!Anne . Reta Collins and William Gordon Smyth in the holy bonds of matrimony. The bride is the youngest' daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Foster o R.R. 3, Clinton and the late Stanley E. Collins.- The, groom is' ,the youngest son of. Gordon Smyth, R.R. 2, Auburn and Mrs. Hazel Smyth of Goder ich. Music was provided by organist Mrs. • Louise - Wilson, neighbour of the groom arid the soloist was a niece of:the groom Miss Marsha Alton. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her second --eldest brother, Bruce Collin S, Clinton, and given in marriage by her mother. The bride looked lovely in a long, soft, flowing gown of polyester sheer. It featured a rounded neckline accented with two layers of gathered sheer forming a ruffle and an empire waistline with long, flowing skikt held at the back With a long chapel train. Her fingertip veil, 'was edged with matching lace from France with ap- pliques of the same, lace attached at random to the 'veil. Her veil was held in place by a caplet trim- med with the same lace accented with tiny dedpear ls- The bride carried a cascade of yellow sweetheart roses, white diTsies, orange and blue stephanetis and baby's breath.. Maid of honour was Miss.Karen Stephenson, a friend of the bride and groom from Niagara Falls.
