The Langside Cemetery
meeting was held in the
Whiteelmrrh Hall Wednes,
Lake range, north of Kintail.
Oldest member present at
the picnic was. Grace Farrish:

Youngest family member
was Darren Grant' MacDon-
ald of Ripley, six-week-old
son of John and Christine
(MacLennan) MacDonald.
Family members were
Peter and Marjorie Levi ck
and Aaron of Ottawa spent
the holiday weekend with her
aunt, Mrs. Dora Alton, Stu-
ai t and Steven. Aaron had
spent a week here with his
aunt and returned home with
his parents.
John Kuik, 'Billie'and Dar-
lene spent a week fishing at
their cottage at Biscotasing,
Northern Ontario.
Hilda Lane and her sister,
Mrs. Winnie Wheeler, Lon-
don, spent a week 'at their
home at Lanes and attended
the Dungannon Birthday

Beach. The Twamleys grew

farm and enjoyed seeing
many of their friends.

Church service was held in
the Whitechurch. Presbyter-
ian Church on. Sunday morn-
ing with members of the
United Church attending the,
services there this month
while their minister is on
holidays. Also present at the
service was Rev. Jacob Keip-
er of Holland, and his son.
Rev. Keiper was minister at
Whitechurch and Langside
about' sixteen years ago and
the son with him was. born
while they lived at White-
church. Rev, Keiper enjoyed
meeting and talking with
members he knew while he
was minister there.
YOUNG REUNION
- 'The-annual-Young -reunion
was held in the. Conservation
Park, Hanover on Sunday
afternoon with 22 present.
The program was in charge
of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Young
of Hanover and Mr. and Mrs.
'Wallace Richardson of Wing-
ham. Three jars of candy
were passed around and all
had a guess at how many
were in each. They were then
presented to those whose
guess was closest.
Prizes were given to the
oldest lady, the man with the
least, hair, 'girl with longest
hair, youngest 'child, lady
with most buttons lady with
longest first name, the driver
coming the longest distance
and the ones with the oldeSt
and newest Apie bingo
contest was held and a list of
articles found in a lady's
piase; also the person having
the most pennies, Races
Were held for the children
and also a peanut scramble.
After this a 'bounteous
lunch was set out buffet style
which was enjoyed by all. A
short business meeting fol-
lowed and Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Young of Langside
and. Mr. and Mrs. Don Met-
Calfe, Hanover, were elected
to be in charge of the reunion
next year.
