annual picnic in the
Teeswater park on
Tuesday with 18 Children
present, The weather was
fine that day and all had a
good time.
Miss Margaret Moffat
of Toronto, fOrmerly of
this district, attended the
funeral of Miss Nettie
Moffat of Teeswater on
Sunday, July 20. The
funeral was from the
McPherson Funeral
Home with burial in
Teeswater cemetery.
The 8th line of Culross
held a bridal shower for
Joke Visser last Tuesday
evening July 22. About 28
ladies were present at the
home of Mrs. Debbie
Scott. A program of
contests was held after
which Joke opened the
presents assisted by, her
sister. Mrs. Elmer Scott
read the cards and
Shirley Peterpaw carried
in the presents. After
Joke thanked everyone
for the gifts lunch was
served and a social time ,
spent.
The ,Whitechurch
Young people held a
beach party and bar-
heque at the end of the
12th concession on
Saturday evening.
Although the weather
was rather wet, they all
enjoyed the party.
