Reunion remises an exciting five days of family
un an enterta ninent.
All those ,returning to their home along the
shores of Lake Huron, and those already here
should experience a most memorable
celebration whore there is something on the
program for• everyone. ,
Beginning Thursday night with the 155th
Wintario draw at the community centre 'and
closing 'with the Miss Bruce County beauty
pageant, the planned activities guarantee the
1980 Reunion will be the best of the eight
celebrated since 1907. -
Under the chairmanship of Roy Ellenton, with
his executive of Honorary Chairman Harold
Linklater, secretary Sally Boileau and treasurer
Shirley Ackert, the Reunion Committee • has
developed a superb agenda that aims to please
every generation. '
It's a .celebration worthy of its name-the 1980
Old Boys and Girl% Reunion.

The 155th Wintario draw with Faye Dance and
Fred Davis will be held at the Kincardine
Community Centre. Before the actual draw
takes place, a variety concert with local talent
will be staged.
At 7:00 pm, Master of Ceremonies Gary
Gurbin will open an hour and a •half long
program of entertainment featuring • Beth
Mimnaugh's Scottish Dancers, Don's Organ with
Sally Presicapor and theRichard Knechtel Trio.
At 8:30, the audience will be given a half hour
of instructions as the cameras and set are made
ready for-the big Araw7And at 9i00, the Win ario
draw will begin. Tickets for the evening are $3.,
which includes a ticket in the draw.
Friday, August!
Registration fer all those returning for the 1980
Reunion will be held at the Kincardine Towh Hall
starting at 12 noon and lasting until 8.00 pm.
Typists will take your name and provide you
with a tag to wear for the entire weekend,
(Pre registration is urged for current residents
of 'Kincardine to 'help avoid crowding at the
registration centre,)
The first sports tournament of the weekend
will be an Open Invitational Lawn Bowling
tournie and a Mixed . Trebles Event taking place.
at 10:00 am at the Kincardine Lawn Bowling Club.

At 1:30 pm, a free bus tour to the Agri-Park (a
one acre greenhouse project that may soon be
powered by waste steam from the nuclear power
plant) and to the Bruce Nuclear Power
Development will leave from the town hall, The
bus is limited. to 40 visitors and pre-registration
is suggested.
At 7:00 pm, The Miss Kincardine Reunion
beauty pageant will begin with a parade .leaving
front Victoria Park and winding its way down
Queen Street to Broadway and into Connaught
Park where the ceremonies will take place. The
parade (of at least 18 contestants) will be lead by
the Kincardine Scottish pipe band.
Bobby Gimby, and choirs of following
children, will be the featured guest of the
evening. In case of rain, the pageant will be held
at the Kincardine and District Secondary School.
Admission $2.50.
From 7-1:00 ant., The Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 183 will have a "welcome• home" and
dance, The Legion is now,at 219 Lambton Street,
the former Ardloch Lodge.
Two dances will be. staged- at the community
centre, starting at 9: 00 pm. Lionel Thornton will
play in the Kincardine Hall. Krossing and the
Bognor Belles will perform 50's music on the
arena floor. One $5, ticket gets you into both
dances,
