MRS. BERTHA McLEAN
The former Bertha Pierce,
passed away in Chelsey Park
Nursing • Home , in Missis-
sauga on Monday, July 14,
1980 in her 94th year. Left to
mourn are three daughters,
Mabel Green of Moose Jaw,
Frances Johnston of San
Francisco and Dorothea Rin-
toul of Mississauga and one
sop. Donald of Mississauga.
She was predeceased by her
husband in 1958 and one
child in infancy and also
predeceased by one son Law-
rence during the war and ten
brothers and sisters. Funeral
service was held at the
MacKenzie and McCreath
Funeral Home in Lucknow on
Friday, July 18, 1980 at 1.30
p.m. with Rev. Doug Kauf-
man officiating: Interment
followed in Greenhill Cemet-
ery,

Gordon MacKinnon died
March 3, 1980 at St. Peters-
burg, Florida. Beloved uncle
of the McCreaths and Prices
of Toronto, born in Calumet,
Michigan and active in the
Big Brother Movement and
the West-End YMCA in
Toronto in the Twenties and
Thirties. A pioneer in the
model airplane building hob-
by in. the Twenties and untila
few years ago resided in
Detroit and Chicago, return-
ing each year to Ontario and
particularly Goderich for the
Pee Wee Hockey Tourna-
ments, Interred in the Mac-
Kinnon family plot in the
Presbyterian Church at
South Kinloss, Lucknow, On-
tario.

It was planned to have
the WMS take the first
Sunday service in August
and the Sunday School

on holidays.
Mrs. William-
Dollman holidayed in
Holland for four . weeks.
While there, Brian . was
put in a hospital for a
week. Since they have
come home Brian is now
in University Hospital in .
London. We hope his stay ,
is successful and wish
him good luck. Nicki was ,
staying with his sister,

Montreal and returned
home on Sunday.

them.
Tom Downey returned
to visit for a week with his
grandina, Mrs. Christine
Downey in Burlington.
Mrs. Downey was here
for the past month.

Elmira visited on the
weekend with Mr.. and
Mrs. Barry Johnston.

enjoyed dinner with Mr.
and Mrs. Mike Snohelen
and family on Sunday.
Clarence Ritchie had
the mishap last •Tuesday
of having his knee injured
while loading cattle. He
was taken to St. Joseph's
Hospital in London on
Wednesday and has a
cast on his right leg for
six •weeks. Hopefully
Clarence will be home by
Tuesday and will be
walking around on
crutches.
