Chisholm Sells Farms.
Gus Chiih-'61m sells
farms.
In fact Gus Chisholm
can,• and-has,- sold almost-
everything.
And those aren't in-
flated claims as Gus was
honored by Alexander
and Chapman Realty at a
special luncheon Friday
and presented with a
gold, personalized pen set
in recognition of his first
anniversary' with the
Goderich realty com-
pany.
That anniversary
marked an un-
precendented first year
in real estate, sales, with
total salei approaching $3
million. Bert Alexander
made the special
presentation at the
Hotel Bedford to honour
Gus for his phenomenal
sales achievement in
such a short span.
Although Gus excells in
the sale, of rural
properties, residential
and commercial sales
have contributed sub-
stantially to his enviable
record and evidenced the •
fact that he is, a versatile
salesman.
Gus is a native of
Eastern Canada but, has-
lived and worked in
Huron County for 35
years and his wife, jean,
is a Goderich girl. Early
in his career he worked
as a car salesman, enjoys
building arid flying air-
craft as a hobby and.,
recently retired from a
career in manufacturing
sales with Dearborn Steel
Tubing in 'Goderich.
Gus' success in farm_
sales can be attributed to
many factors. He Is an
independent, self
motivator with a genuine
concern for helping
young Canadian farmers
to get a decent start on
their future.. And that
penchant-for helping the
young Canadian farmer
has led to sales in
Colborne,A,shfield,
Goderich and Huron
Townships as well as
other locations in Grey'
and. Huron.Counties.
Service and a sincere
concern for the buyer's
needs is his trademark.
But his first an-
niversary with sales of
close to $3 million is now
history. Gus is just
getting his feet wet in the
business and will , be
hustling to• meet his goal
of assisting young
families in realizing their
dreams. '
And he'll do it too.
Because Gus `Chisholm
cares and Gus Chisholm
sells farms.
