The ladies enjoyed trips to a game farm, the town of Kererneos, where the Legion Auxiliary treated them to a program of dancing by school children and 'a delicious meal. The last trip was to a winery, which.prov ed to be very interesting. Free samples' were enjoyed being held after that. Track and field day was held last week at Lucknow and Kinhiss Central Schools. It is a day the students all enjoy and many of them are wearing prize ribbons for their efforts. F. E. Madill students who wrote exams last week will all be relieved that they are over. Hope they all passed. Karen and Diane ,Yeung were two of the Lucknow band members who took part „,in the hand concert and picnic held at Fislhertnan's Cove Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Ann Magoffin of Lucknow had as visitors last week, her three daughters, Lorene, Mrs. Calvin Irwin, Oshawa; Fern, Mrs. Harold Melbin, Victoria, B.C. and Bonnie Gray of London. It has been several years since all three sisters were togeth- er with their mother. Mrs. Irwin and Mrs. Meibin were accompanied by their hus- bands and all spent the remainder of the week at Ipperwash.
