Intermediates split series
The Lucknow Legion Intermediate ball team split a home and home series with Teeswater,
winning in Teesvvater 4 - 2 in 11 innings, with Hugh Todd pitching for his .first win, of the
year. •
On Sunday, June 8th, Lucknow hosted Teeswater and were defeated 7 - 6 with the rookie
pitching. staff of Ray Cranston and Doug Stevenson doing,a .respectable job, but with the
number of, team errors made; they were unable to come up with a victory.
Lucknow was also entered in the Wingham Tournament and faired well, but just out of the
money, defeating Toronto and .Goderich and loSing to Waterloo and Ayr by slim margins.
