NOG, 2H0. 1:m gathering information for a fat lily history and I have learned of a James Scott of Portaferry, Northern Ireland who - came to Lucknow, Ontario in the 1860S. It is certain he lived at Lucknow in 1875. Is it possible you Might find some infermation for, me about him - or could you put me in tench with someone who • might help? I :would „appreciate—it very- much and would be prepared. to pay someone for their 'efforts on my behalf. This James Scott had a brother at Ashton, Ontario,•called Archibald. Scott. James' date of birth was 1835, March 15. He probably was buried at Lucknow. He may have belonged to the Methodist, Or Presbyterian Church. I would like to trace his descendants if I could, especially to. get in touch with them. I plan to visit Lucknow, if any infoi:mation is found, and follow up with a, Personal call at his grave and hopefully some living descendants.
