In her talk Mrs. Argyle said that a gardner should try something new in their' gard- en everyyeat and keep track of it in a book. Also she gave many valuable ideas for general gardening and look- ing after plants. Mrs. W. f. • MacDonald thanked Mrs. Argyle for her splendid talk and presented her with a gift. Mrs. Brooks presided at the meet- ing. The opening prayer was given by' Mrs. Robert Reid. The Bible Study was taken by Mrs. Jessie Johnston. The mission study was given by Mrs. Wallace Wilson. Mrs. Bert Moffat presided at the piano for the singing of hymns and played a selection of hymns for the residents which they enjoyed.
