TERRANCE McKEL,LAR A pretty military wedding took place at 3 p.m, Saturday, March 29, • 1980 in St. Dunstan Angl- ican Church, Victoria, WC. when Annetta Laurine MacCrostie, only daughter of 'Mr. and' Mrs. Hiigh 1VlacCrostie., RR5 -Goderich was united in marriage to Lieut. Col. Terraria& Wayne McKellar, , only son Of Mrs. • W. and the late Russel .1V1cKellai. of Victoria. The groom is currently Commanding Officer of -the - Canadian__ _Scottish Regiment,. (Princess. Mary's). Major, the Reverend *m. Lunny performed the ..doable .._ring ceremony. The bride was, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a gown of Satin chiffon extending to a full cathedral train. From the. high Mandarin collar plunged 'a low V of net lace insert em- b r o id er e d with Rhinestones and pearls, and edged with wide guipure lace. The back also with a low sealloped net lace insert, as well as the long lace sleeves, was embroidered in the same fashion. She were a full cathedral veil edged with Nottingham lade and carried a shower bouquet. of American Beauty roses, stephanotis and baby's breath. Miss Joyce Nykamp, Cornox (formerly of Clinton, Ontario) was maid of" honour, wearing a yellow gown with ac- cordion, pleated skirt and lace bertha''-tollar. She carried a bouquet . of white daisies, yellow \ \ 1 mums and daffodils. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Joanne Mackie, Sechelt and Miss Linda Johnston, Pemberton.• Both were ,gowned sithilar to the maid of honour. The flowergirl *as Shatinon Osland of Victoria wearing white eyelet trimmed with yellow ribbon and carrying a >basket of yellow mums and white daisies. - The groom was at- tended by . Maj. Ken Ward, and the ushers were Capt. Barry Rigler, Second Lieut. Tim Riley, Lieut. Derek Brown; all bf Victoria and Mr. Dale Maccrostie, Kincardine, Ont. The groom, groomsman, and .three ushers were attired in regimental ceremonial dress, highlighted by the Hunting Stewart plaid. Mr. Dale MacCrostie- wore a-black tuxedo, and the ring bearer,, Christopher Talbot of Victoria, a kilt of the Htinting Stewart. • The wedding party was piped froth the church by Pipe Major Steven Kelly and passed throagh • an arch . of crossed claymores presented by ten regimental serving officers. Pipes and drums of the Canadian Seottish Regiment entertained the 350- guests prior to the reception in the officers' mess and boiintiful smorgasbord dinner served on thebalCony. For greeting the relatives and friends, the bride's mother chose a gowa of. green polyester , knit With a • corsage of pink, roses. Assisting her was the ,groom's mother in sky blue knit with the same pink corsage. Master of ceremonies for the evening 'was Maj.
