Feest, to be staged, in 1981;
The' Kloinpen Feest,
which, means wooden '
shoe festival in English,
will be reminiscent of the
traditional street
festivals held in Holland.
The Business
Association chose a -
Dutch oriented theme
because it would make
the festival unique in the
area and also pay tribute
to the many Dutch im-
migrants who have
settled there.
A three-day event is
being studied and the
tentative date for the
celebration has Veen set
for May.

marred by the scrubby

once again ready for full
warm weather enjoyment.
Fortunately, many community-
Minded people care about this and want
to help keep Ontariabeautiful.
