HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Lucknow Sentinel, 1980-04-16, Page 10On April 8th. the Lucknow Women's Institute ladies held their annual meeting at 12.30 p,m. in the Institute rooms and enjoyed a delici- ous pot luck dinner. Mrs. S. MacGillivray pres- ided for the meeting and Mrs. A., Gammie read the minutes. A donation of 25.00 was given to the Agricultural Society and on April 23, some of the Insti- tute ladies are putting on a program. at Pinecrest Manor. MrS. Marshall Gibson gave a report of the District Directors meeting held in Teewater. The standing corn- Mittees gave their reports and the new slate of officers for 1980-81 was given by Mrs. G. Ritchie. They include: past presid- ent, Mrs. A. Wilson; presid- ent, Mrs. S. MacGillivray; 1st vice president, Mrs. M. Gibson; 2nd vice president, Mrs. C. Brown; secretary- treasurer, Mrs. A.
