Friday March 28th in his 74th year. He* was the son cif the late Mr, atid_Mrs. 'Herbert Gra- hani Kinlough. Born Jime 16th;1906, he " attended • Kiniptigh. Public Sehoot. was a faithful member of the Church of AsCensiOn (Angle: can) where he * attended . Sunday School and was the third geoeratin 'of the Gra; ham family 'to. serve as Sunday School. Superintend- ant. He was a member of the choir and warden of the church for several • years'' He also' served on the Kinloss township council. He was a well known and highly respected, -citizen, truly- :Christian gentleman. He al- Ways had • a Jove for the country and after' assisting several farmers he purchas- ed the farm east of KinlOugh on concession 12, Kinloss, presently owned by Glen Fleldenby. ' July 21st, 1934 he married Grace..Evelyn(1-fald. enby, daughter of the Iate. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. 'Hal- denby. They farmed there for a: few years then moved to the Haldenby homestead, concession ::12,, CUIross, and gentinued farming and Grace taught at the Westford Pub- -lie- School. In 1956 they decided to retire from * farm life •and .moved to Teinegami where Art worked for the lumber company and. Grace taught in the village school„.Latet they moved to Sault Ste.. Marie where Mr.. Graham Was an offiee employee with the DO- pertment of Highway and `Grace continued her teach ing. ' In 19.71 they both retired , frpin-active work and Art was highly honoured with a lovely surprise retirement dinner and fareWell evening at which time he was'presented *with a beautiful silver tea service in recognition Of' his faithful years of service. They retired to - Kinloss Township and purchased their retirement home north Of. Lueknow in 1971. Their' home was one of true Whole.. some hospitality and last July friends henoured them on the occasion of their 45th Wedding anniversary. Mr. Graham's death came with such shocking siidden ness that it saddened the entire community. , Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Grace;_ a brother, John r of Ann Arbor, Michi- gan, three sisters, Betty, Mrs. Melvin Johnstone, Lis- towel; Mary. Mrs. Levi Eck- ensvviller,: London and Kath- She is survived by one sister, Miss Annie Laidlaw of . R, R. 1 'LucktiOw• eight nephews and two nieces. She Was predeceased by siSters, Mrs. Samuel (BesSie) Coal- fer andMrs. James (MaggieL,,,,,, Falconer; and brothers, Alin es; Robert and Herbert. The late Miss Laidlaw rest • ed at the Currie-Walker Funeral Home where Rev. Muskateers held their 6th and last meeting 'at the home of Fran . Farrell on concession .12. . All members were present. The meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge. The Roll Call: Tell why the design we chose from our collection was our favourite. They did a decorating know-how , quiz. All , the members scored well. They also played the decorating dilemma game, -next, which ended in a tie.. They then looked at a wallpaper book, and carpet samples to see which ones they liked. The leaders, Dianne MacKay and Fran Farrell, went over a picture arrangement and rearranged some pic- tures, The Achievement Day skit was decided on, and they talked about their covers.
