A series of bi-weekly reviews of activities at
SEAFORTH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
EMPLOYMENT ANNIVERSARIES
Staff members who celebrated anniversaries this spring are:
5 years: Bonnie Biemers - Lab; Lorraine Devereaux - Dietician, Sheila Hallahan - R.N.
10 years: Mary Coyne - R.N.
15 years: Pat Gillis - R.N.A.
HOSPITAL HEROES
Anyone visiting the hospital these past two months can certainly sympathize with patients
who must endure the heat in rooms without air conditioning. The real heroes though are the
Nursing Staff who must carry on with physical jobs and keep up morale in less than ideal
working conditions. Dietary Staff have also been struggling with a very hot, humid kitchen,
with ovens and stoves operating. Theaddition of hospital wide air conditioning in the expansion
will be even more appreciated after sweltering through the summer of '88!
AMBULANCE DISPATCH CUT-OVER
Seaforth’s Ambulance will no longer be dispatched by the hospital’s switchboard after
August 15,1988. This job will be taken over by Central Ambulance Communications Centre in
London. The emergency telephone number remains the same - 527-1751. General information
queries may use 1-800-265-1868.
PAST AND UPCOMING EVENTS
Mealson WheelsCo-ordinator Jane Vincent attended a spring meeting in Clinton to present
information on Seaforth’s Meals on Wheels Program and to learn about the One Stop Access
Proposal for Huron County.
