LOAF 4 LITRE BAGS BY CHRISTINA ROULSTON Seventeen-year-old Stephen Souch of Blyth began an experi ence of a lifetime, Tuesday, when he left on a flight from Toronto on a year-long exchange to Norway. Stephen’s interest in the idea of an exchange was piqued by other people he knew who had partici pated on them, and at the beginning of last year’s school year he decided to apply for an exchange he had read about in the newspaper. This program was rather costly though, sowhen he came across another exchange program through the guidance office of his high school he applied for it also. This second program was the Rotary Youth Exchange. Stephen sent his forms to the nearest Rotary club (Goderich). On his application he placed his preference of three continents as requested, those being Australia, Europe and South America. Soon after the club contacted Stephen for an interview in Goderich with all the other appli cants. Each applicant was placed at an interview with three members of the Rotary Club and a mother of a student who had already complet ed the exchange.
