Brussels United Church was the
setting June 11, 1988 for the
marriage of Stewart Albert Cardiff
and Alison Holly Hahn with Rev.
Charles Carpentier officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
Peter and Dianne Hahn, Missis
sauga and the groom is the son of
Jack and Audrey Cardiff of RR 5,
Brussels.
Matron of Honor was Wendy
Heppell, sister of the bride and
bridemaids were Catherine Fuller,
sister of the groom and Gerda
Hendricks, friend of the bride.
Bestmanwas Robert Cardiff,
brother of the groom and ushers
were Allan Eadie and Murray De
V os, friends of the groom. Organist
was Karen Cardiff, aunt of the
groom flutist was Anne Kernag-
han and singers were Mary Lynne
White and Susan Elliot, cousins of
the groom.

Kitchener, were Sunday visitors
with Don and Mrs. Cotton.
Visiting Mrs. Mac Engel during
the week were Mrs. Alf King, her
son Kenneth and wife, Brantford,
and Mrs. Jack Clark, Stratford.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Gensheimer,
Offenbach, West Germany, are
enjoying holidays here and visiting
relatives and friends in the area.

holds poo! party
Members of the Cranbrook
Women’s Institute and their fami
lies enjoyed a pool party at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Clark in
Stratford on Sunday afternoon,
July 17. The weather was nearly
perfect for swimming, sun bathing
or sitting in the shade so everyone
worked up a good appetite for the
potlucksupper. Members were
grateful to Marilyn and Jack for
their hospitality.

Morris and Grey arena by the
catering committee at 6:30 p.m.
followed by a reception to music by
Doug McArier.
Guests from Edmonton included
grandparents of the bride. The
couple have taken residence at
Barrie, Ontario, where Stewart is
employed with the Farm Credit
Corporation.
OMAF plans
exchange for farmers
This summer the Ontario Mini
stry of Agriculture and Food office
in Clinton in co-operation with the
Huron Soil and Crop Association
will be operating a hay exchange.
The exchange will help buyers and
sellers of hay to know who is in the
market and the type of hay
available.
The exchange may be used by
calling the O.M.A.F. office in

reading of the Bible is what is

The male quartet, Bodie Craig,
Albert Wasson, Lloyd Walden and
Harvey McDowell, sang “Do you
hear the Saviour calling?” and
‘‘I’m drifting, drifting o’er the
deep” with Bodie Craig singing
the solo part in the latter.

greeters and Evalena Webster,
and Ken Hamm were ushers.
