Obituaries Donnybrook native killed in crash BARRY ARTHUR JEFFERSON Barry Arthur Jefferson of Ed­ son, Alberta and formerly of RR 1, Belgrave, died July 11, 1988 in Edson as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 24 years of age. He was born in Clinton and grew up in the Donnybrook area where he was a member of Donnybrook United Church. He was the son of Wesley John Jefferson and the former Eilleen Josling of RR I, Belgrave. Surviving besides his parents are his dear friend Carrie Ann Page of Edson, and his brothers and sisters: Debbie, Mrs, Dwayne Berkholtz, Edson; Brian and Ger­ ald. RR 1, Belgrave; Doreen and Murray Thompson, RR 1, Bel­ grave; Bill and Debbie, Teeswater and Diane, Mrs. David Thomson, Wingham. One nephew, Regan Berkholtz. also survives. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Iona Jefferson and Gladys and Elgin Josling. The funeral was held on July 15, 1988 from the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Luck­ now with Rev. R. J. Roberts of Donnybrook United Church offi­ ciating. Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Acting as pallbearers were David Thomson, Murray Thomp­ son, Dwayne Berkholtz, Willie Hendricks, Chris Markham and Tom Foran. Flowerbearers were Robert Symes, Stuart Chamney, Mary Ellen Foran and Rosemary Foran. Former Ethel resident dies BLANCHE DOBSON Mrs. Blanche Dobson, the form­ er Blanche McKee of Listowel, formerly of Ethel and Southamp­ ton passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Satur­ day, July 16,1988 in her 88th year. She is survived by two sons, Bill and his wife Helen of Ethel and Pete and his wife Jean of Port Elgin and by eight granchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was pre­ deceased by her husband Quest in 1961, her parents the late William McKee and Sara Humphries and three brothers. The late Mrs. Blanche Dobson rested at the Peebles Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, where the family received friends and relatives on Sunday, July 17from2-4:30and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service was held on Monday, July 18 at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. Rev. Paul Ellingham offici­ ated. Pallbearers were Allan, Jim, Mark and Norman Dobson, Tom Ward and Craig Smith. Flower­ bearers were Bill and James Dobson. Township of West Wawanosh West Wawanosh Township Council wishes to comply with the request of an interested citizen in having a history of the municipality compiled.
