Ron Gabriel sees this production

company, they will act as stage
technicians, setdesigners, publici

Young Company will have access
to the expertise of the profession
als working in the Blyth Festival

The Mail Order Bride was
originally commissioned by the
CBC as three five-minute dramas,
according to author Robert Clin

three years to develop from an idea
first conceived in 1973. In its
present form, it should easily be
oneof the best on the Festival’s
repertoire this season.
Bride is directed by Katherine
Kaszaz, with original music by
John Roby, set design by William
Chesney, costume design by Kerry
Hackett, and lighting design by
Harry Frehner.
It opened June 22 and runs for
three more matinees and 13 more
evening performances, closing
