The students opened the pro­ gram with a welcome song and then introduced themselves by reciting a poem called the “Kin­ dergarten Alphabet’ ’. In song and rhyme, they presented “Going to the Zoo’ ’. Each class also perform­ ed a dance. Ashley Howson, Elisha Court­ ney and Julie Ritchie did a gymnastics routine. The classes sang two more songs, “Grade, One, Here We come’ ’ and “It’s Time to Say Good-bye.’’ Each student was presented with a personalized story book, organized by Cindy Taylor, Bay- field and presented by Don Albrechtas, from the Grand View Restaurant, the sponsor of the books. After receiving their diplomas from Mr. Black and Mrs. Buffinga, the pupils passed under a decorat­ ed trellis and greeted Mrs. Betty Battye their grade one teacher. Refreshments were served to family and graduates in the Kindergarten room. The graduates are: David An­ sley, Richard Baechler, Shawn Bromley, Russell Bromley-Bowes, Chauncey Carter, Ross Clark, Matthew Clark, Elisha Courtney, Jason Fidom Cody Fidom, Jenni­ fer Godfrey. Agricrew on the job The 1988 Agricrew team has started work in Huron County. Four crews, based out of Blyth, Clinton, and Exeter, will be doing agriculturally related tasks up until August 19, 1988. In the past, crews have been hired to pick stones, bale hay and straw, paint fences, hoe vege­ tables, as well as other jobs. The program supervisors, An- gella Schlosser and Don Rauser, are continuing to accept applica­ tions for Summer Employment at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food Office in Clinton.
