We are pleased to report that Terry Lefor is able to be back home following his accident June 13 when his all-terrain vehicle was in collision with a car. Mrs. Mae Campbell, Seaforth, visited on Tuesday with Jack and Mrs. Conley, and on Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Bert van Donkers- goed, West Montrose, called. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dadswell, Clayton, Delaware, visited Lloyd and Mrs. Smith. Beryl and Bruce are twins. Visitorswith Mrs. Mac Engel during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Keys, Seaforth, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Clark, Stratford, and Mrs. David Kerley, Gorrie. Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Thomas Baker and family in the tragic death of her 21 year old granddaughter Kelly Gawne, of London. Kelly was a student at Royal Military College, Kingston, Ont. and was killed on Monday, June 20, in an explosion in Chilliwack, B.C. Belgrave discusses housing A public meeting was held in the Women’s Institute Hall in Bel­ grave on June 22, when 37 interested people attended to discuss senior citizen housing for the village. George Michie introduced Joelle Bleasdale, program co­ ordinator for the Ministry of Housing from the London Office. She explained the Non-Profit Housing Program, which was followed by a question and answer period. Information sheets were passed out and are available from the ministry’s office. It was agreed that a survey shouldbe taken to ascertain the needs and possibilities of senior housing for the municipality. A committee of seven was named to further pursue the project. Congratulations to Marie Schnock and Harry Otten who were married in Londesboro United Church on Saturday, with a reception following at Blyth. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hoy cele­ brated their25th anniversary in Wingham Saturday evening and many people from the Ethel area attended. The Ethel W.I. entertained the residents of Callander Nursing Home at the June birthday party. Doris Jacklin, Thelma Keffer, Lou Raynard and Helen Alexander served lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Alf Sutton provided the entertain­ ment. Twenty-two Ethel W.I. mem­ bers and friends attended the opening of Mail Order Bride play at the Blyth Festival on Wednesday evening. Ms. Mary Lou Vincent then had everyone back to her place for a social time. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Boyer on the birth of their son.
