THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 1988. PAGE 3. Mr. and Mrs. Delton Hallman of Cambridge visited with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Snell on Friday. Dr. Rudy and Joan Leibold have sold their home on Coombs Street, Blyth to Murray and Connie Nesbitt. They will be leaving later in the summer for a location in the Thamesford-Ingersoll district which will be closer to Rudy’s veterinary work. The Leibolds have lived in Blyth for 23 years, where their four children received their public school education. We will miss this community-minded family in our midst. Ann Hollinger, accompanied by her sister Helen Broadhead of Guelph, Maxine King of Bervie and Dorothy Johnston of Londes- borough, motored to Red Bay Lodge near Wiarton, where last weekend they joined 58 other members and friends of the County Down Club on their annual May outing. Here, they always enjoy the indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, sports and delicious low calorie meals. But unfortunately, this year during their stay, tragedy struck. John Bullen, 23, the only son of Roy and Shirley Bullen, owners of Red Bay Lodge, was instantly killed in a car accident. The Bullens are a closely knit family who always extend friendly hospitality to guests. On their sad leaving, Count Down members, who have become fond of the Bullens, presented them with a beautiful 12-bloom hibiscus plant as a tangible expression of their sympathy. The last Lost Heir card party of the spring was held at Blyth Memorial Hall on May 11. Edythe Snell and Cliff Hoegy took the high prizes. Blanche Hoegy and Edgar Howatt took the low prizes. Mary Holland won the special prize. Brownies 'Fly-up' to Guides The 1st Blyth Brownie Pack held their Fly-Up ceremony May 11 at the Blyth Public School.
