FAMILY FESTIVAL SERIES
All four of the concerts can be purchased as a package for
only $30, a savings of $18 or an economy package of two
productions can be purchased for $18. There’s a bonus of
a ticket to the Bly th Festival Singers concert. Youth
tickets can be purchased as $20 for the four shows or $12
for two shows.

MARITIME MARIONETTES
Beautiful wooden marionettes come magically to life in
the expert hands of their creators, Heather Bishop and
Daryll Taylor in the beloved story of Cinderella. This
production from New Brunswick is based on the original
French story set in Medieval times with music from
Prokofiev’s ballet Cinderella.
Saturday, Oct. 29, 2 p.m. Advance single tickets $6. At
the door $7.50.

CanadianParentsforFrenchissponsoring a French
language performance of Cindeiella by Maritime
Marionettes the same day at 11 a.m. For information of

KIM AND JERRY BRODEY
Kim and Jerry Brodey return to the Festival with their
new show “Family Pie”. It is an hilarious performance of
original songs featuring everything from rock to folk to
opera spiced up with the characters they create with their
use of comic hats. .
Saturday, Nov. 26, 2 p.m. Advance single tickets, $6. At
the door, $7.50.
GREEN THUMB THEATRE
Based in Vancouver, Green Thumb Theatre has gained an
international reputation for developing and producing
original Canadian plays focusing on topics of concern to
today’s children. “Two Weeks Twice a Year’’ by Colin
Thomas deals delicately with the subject of young people
and the effect of divorce on their lives.
Saturday, March 18, 1989. 2 p.m. Advance single tickets
$6. At the door, $7.50.
THE BEST OF ROBERT MUNSCH
The Prairie Theatre Exchange brings a stage adaptation
of the best stories of Robert Munsch, the exciting,
innovative Guelph storyteller. Such well known stories as
“Paper Bag Princess”, “Mortimer”, and “Murmel,
Murmel, Murmel” are included.
Saturday, April 8,1989. Advance single tickets, $6. At the
door, $7.50.
