Richmonds married 50 years Mr. and Mrs. Millar Richmond celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by entertaining friends and relatives at an open house on April 16. They have two sons, Bruce and Keith both of Blyth, eight grand­ children and three great-grand­ children. All of their family were present alongwithfriendsand relatives from as far away as Windsor, Elgin, Grimsby, London and Brampton. Hospital auction planned for Blyth What do a weekend trip to Toronto, an Australian Shepherd puppy and a moonlight cruise on Lake Huron have in common? They’re all items which are to be auctioned off at the Blyth and District Community Centre on April 30, the site of Clinton Public Hospital’s annual fund-raising auction. As in the past, this year’s auction will feature some unique and intriguing items, including the package tour to Toronto, which will include a plane ride from Goderich to TO, a limousine ride in the big city, choice accommodations at one of the better hotels, and tickets for aboxat either a Blue Jays’ game oi at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Another item is the three- month-old Shepherd pup; while the moonlight cruise out of God­ erich will include dinner, as will a day-long fishing trip on a charter boat. Cocktails will be served from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a barbecued beef dinner with all the trimmings, followed by the auc­ tion. Tickets are $20.
